WHAT HAPPENED?
United States men's national team stars Ricardo Pepi, Malik Tillman and Sergino Dest are celebrating after securing the Eredivisie title with PSV. Peter Bosz's side beat Sparta Rotterdam 4-2 on Sunday to confirm the club's first league title since 2018.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
There's no doubt it's been a spectacular season for PSV who now sit 12 points clear of nearest challengers Feyenoord. Bosz's side have also scored an impressive 107 goals in just 32 games this season and still have two matches left to play. Dest and Tillman both moved to the club on loan last summer and have played key roles for PSV. Pepi signed on a permanent deal and has scored eight goals this season for the Dutch club.

PSV have been crowned league champions for the 25th time in club history, with this their first league title since 2018 (6 seasons ago); only in 1963-1975 (12), 1978-1986 (8), and 2008-2015 (7) was the gap between two PSV championships bigger. Meanwhile, Bosz becomes the second oldest manager to ever win the Eredivisie title (60 days and 166 days today), after Sef Vergoossen in 2008 (60 years and 348 days, also with PSV).

WHAT NEXT FOR PSV AND THE USMNT
PSV conclude their campaign Fortuna Sittard and RKC Waalwijk, while the USMNT will be in Copa America action over the summer. Tillman and Pepi will be hoping to be involved, although Dest will miss out and faces a long spell out with an ACL injury.
